In the app, Settings includes an AdGuard DNS toggle — ads-blocking DNS over your VPN tunnel. It filters many ads that way; apps that bypass DNS with DoH can slip past, so we never claim it blocks all ads or tracking.

When a community exit stops responding, we retire it from the catalog and say so plainly. That refresh is part of curation, not a problem with your device — switch and keep going.

Your tunnel is encrypted to the exit you choose: best-effort privacy suited to everyday browsing. Shared community exits aren't a private fleet. The privacy policy covers what we collect on our side.

It is an optional Settings toggle that uses ads-blocking DNS inside your VPN tunnel to filter many ads. It does not stop apps that bypass DNS with DoH, so it is not a promise to block all ads or tracking.

Shared community exits come and go. When one stops responding we remove it from the curated pool — normal stewardship, not a device problem. Switch to another exit anytime.
